The Challenge
To deliver a VIP experience for Sky City’s VIP clients like they had never experienced before. In order to entertain and indulge Sky City’s biggest ‘high rollers’, they turned to Brand Events to showcase the newly designed ‘Dine’ restaurant and to put together an unforgettable function to suit the clientele.

“5 courses of fashion – A gastro-visual experience”
Teaming up with the Chef’s team at Dine, Brand Events helped design a menu to delight the taste buds of everyone in attendance, while at the same time we would entertain them with a fashion show of the highest order. Some of New Zealand and Australia’s most famous designers and labels came together to produce an amazing evening of the highest class.
The Brand Events team took over Peter Gordon’s now famous restaurant for one special night. Decadent staging, theming and lighting were brought in and table design was based around the unique catwalk setup. Brand Events designed and delivered specialist menus to inform the guests of the cuisine and fashion to follow, and the stage was set for a wonderfully unique experience.
The chosen designers were Liz Mitchell, IPG, Zambesi, Yvonne Bennetti and Kate Sylvester. These designers were selected not only because of their high esteem, but also with the clientele in mind. Every single fashion item was a hit, and guests were given the opportunity to purchase the items after the whole show.
The evening was a great success, and despite the audience being a notoriously hard one to capture all Sky City KPIs were hit for the evening.
